The Secret Garden

Outdoor spaces for an informal lifestyle. The two-seater outdoor sofa in teak with a natural finish is a versatile piece of furniture for terraces, patios, verandas, rooftops and decks of yachts and ships. The narrow, organic design is an expression of flawless craftsmanship.

The backrest is made up of a special weave of two-tone cotton webbing in ecru and taupe, which support loose outdoor cushionswith a choose of two or three with removable covers. All the padding is designed to allow water to drain away and dry quickly. The sofa together with the armchair and the low table height creates a more informal dining area. It is suitable for residential and contract settings and is part of The Secret Garden,an outdoor collection designed by Roberto Lazzeroni that completes the range of Poltrona Frau Boundless Living Outdoor Collections.

Sparkler

Technology, design and craftsmanship. Sparkler outdoor lamps create an enchanting atmosphere through light sculptures that decorate outdoor spaces of all kinds. Available in three sizes: the large floor lantern, the medium floor lantern and the small table lantern, they are made from a lacquered powder-coated aluminium frame on which a 0.

5 mm polypropylene rope is hand-woven. The small lamp can be converted into a floor lamp by means of the arch support, or into an outdoor ceiling lamp by means of the hook and woven rope. The luminaire is a LED with an 8W lithium battery, rechargeable via USB cable. Designed by Kensaku Oshiro, the Sparklers belong to the Boundless Living Outdoor Collections at Poltrona Frau.

Mi

Poltrona Frau - Mi

A game of solids and voids, an attentive study of materials and forms and a design approach which operates by subtraction until it achieves the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance. The Mi storage units designed by Neri & Hu for Poltrona Frau play around with light, shade and transparencies to conceal or reveal the objects they house.

Mi is a Chinese pinyin word with a dual meaning used to express both the action of “looking” but also the word “secret”, which inspired this project. In fact, in the Mi storage units, rather than being displayed in full view the objects are hidden by the oblong external shell. You can only discover them by peeking through a layer of tempered glass which closes the space left by the shelves, raised and separated from the body of the unit.
The external surface of the Mi storage units is upholstered in Saddle Extra leather, which is embellished with an original vertical striped canneté texture that gives the product a 3D effect. A thin but solid metal structure frames the body of the product and acts as a link with the raised top in Calacutta gold or Nero Marquinia marble.
The Mi collection consists of three elements: a tall 2-door Mi cabinet, a low 4-door Mi cabinet with book opening, and a Mi trolley on wheels.The structure of the Mi storage units consists of a metal frame with burnished brushed steel finish which also acts as the base. The sides of the units consist of curved panels in poplar plywood while the bottoms and backs are made from birch plywood. To make them even lighter, the doors are made from honeycomb panels. The insides and bottom of the units are veneered in Canaletto walnut. The upper frame of the cabinet and the doors are made from solid Canaletto walnut. Both the two-door and the low four-door Mi cabinets contain shelves made of tempered glass with bronze finish while the top surface, also in tempered glass with bronze finish, offers a glimpse of the inside, like a display cabinet. The Mi High Cabinet has two doors which can be opened. Meanwhile, in the Mi Low Cabinet the 4 doors can be opened two by two like a book. Magnets maintain the doors securely shut. The structure has adjustable feet. The frame of the Mi trolley is fitted with 4 black plastic and steel swivel castors. In the upper part of the trolley the frame finishes with a tube in burnished brushed steel which follows the shape of the product and acts as a handle. One side of the grip is covered with Cuoio Saddle Extra leather matching the upholstery of the trolley, with hand stitching. The internal space is fitted with a tempered glass shelf which can be set at 3 different heights. The top is raised from the wooden body and can be made from Calacatta gold marble or Nero Marquinia marble. Both are available with a glossy finish to which a transparent polyester paint is applied to increase its surface resistance, or a semi-glossy finish for a more natural result.
The exterior of the Mi storage units is upholstered in Saddle Extra leather printed with a canneté texture. There are four possible colours: Carbone, Cammello, Polvere and Corda.

Poltrona Frau - Peek-a-Book

Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, the Peek-a-Book desk embodies all of the typical elegance and comfort of a Poltrona Frau office, ushering it into the domestic setting. Lazzeroni envisages a generous work surface and a design that revisits the materials, warmth and style of his residential collections while at the same time guaranteeing all of the functions of a “genuine” office desk.

The Peek-a-Book desk consists of an extremely simple sheet of poplar plywood covered in Pelle Frau® leather which is curved and folded in two to form the base and the desktop, as well as to accommodate two drawers. The visual effect is that of a valuable leather-bound book that symbolises the function of the object. In fact, the desk is a place for thinking, collecting our thoughts and looking back over our memories: the most intimate and personal side of the person that uses it to study or work.The base structure consists of an easel made from triangular-section solid ash in a moka or wenge stain which forms three trapezium-shaped supports connected to each other with fine joints created in the wood. The front of the two drawers is in MDF covered in Pelle Frau® leather matching the upholstery of the top, while the internal structure is made from solid ash in a wenge stain. The upholstery of the top, the front of the drawers, the side walls and the doors accessing the rear compartments is in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere. The upholstery of the top is produced using a particular covering technique without any visible stitching.

Behind the two central drawers, the Peek-a-Book desk has two side flaps that conceal a hollow space. The compartments are designed to act as a conduit for cables and can be used to house multi-sockets or electric cables with Schuko or USB.
It is also possible to install a smartphone induction charger under the leather upholstery of the desktop, as suggested by the branded logo.

Plot

Poltrona Frau - Plot

They can be folded as required, redesigning any corner with elegance, delicacy and discretion. We are talking about the Plot modular room dividers. Designed by GamFratesi and produced by Poltrona Frau, the Plot room dividers have a simple design that embellishes the home in addition to creating separate spaces and guaranteeing greater privacy.

The most distinctive detail of this product is the geometric patterns created using plaited leather. In the Round panels this weave plays with the shape of the circle, presenting various combinations, while in the Square panels the geometric shape is, as the name suggests, the square.
The Plot room divider is available in two, three or four modules.
The structure consists of aluminium tubing veneered with a moka ash finish. The vertical and horizontal tubes are connected with metal joints with matt brass finish. The conical caps at the bottom, also in metal, are painted. The structure is supported by metal feet with matt bronze finish.The woven bands hooked to the metal tubes are in Pelle Frau® ColorSphere® with pre-established colour combinations. Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poltrona Frau, the In the Mood seating system was conceived to allow fabric and leather express themselves as expanses of soft and welcoming surfaces. A strongly horizontal design for a sofa of sophisticated simplicity that wears both finishes with consummate sartorial elegance.

The large padded surfaces and minimalist, almost elementary, design of the In the Mood sofa are particularly successful at bringing out the beauty of the upholstery, in fine Pelle Frau* leather or in numerous patterns of fabrics and splendid shades of ColorSphere®. The characteristic sleekness of the feet projected towards the centre of the seat creates a dynamic tension that exudes energy and lightness. Sartorial stitching details, typical of Poltrona Frau’s history in upholstery, are given a contemporary twist, like the leather or fabric piping that defines the edges of the sofa. The In the Mood seating system is available in numerous two or three-seater combinations. These can be enhanced with a curved 45° element that breaks up the classic rigidity of the angular configurations, and with three different types of armrest.

The frame of the In the Mood sofa is in tubular metal with interwoven elastic belts. The padding is in variable density CFC-free polyurethane foam and pressed felt. The backrests and armrests are made from birch plywood and hardboard panels with padding in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The seat cushions are padded with goose down and polyester wadding with stabilising polyurethane foam insert. The backrest cushions are padded in firmus with separate horizontal chambers to distinguish the various areas of comfort. The feet are in ruthenium-coloured burnished aluminium with protective caps.
The upholstery is available entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or in fabric. The In the Mood sofa is refined with piping that outlines its edges. In the leather version the piping is always in leather, while in the fabric version the piping can be in leather or matching fabric. It is always possible to remove the covers from the cushions while the covers of the backrest, armrest and frame can only be removed in the fabric versions.

In the Mood can be configured with different types of armrests:
Medium, low, and low outfitted armrest with a flap that accesses a storage compartment covered with black Alcantara and completed with a sliding multipurpose tray made from ash in a wenge stain.
