Cove
De Cove van Poltrona Frau is ontworpen door de designers van het Britse ontwerpbureau Foster + Partners. Cove is speciaal ontwikkeld voor de toepassing in publieke ruimtes. Door de hoge, omarmende rugleuning biedt Cove privacy en optimaal comfort. De fauteuil is met een klein schrijftablet en een oplaadpunt uitgerust, zodat de Cove ook als informele werkplek kan worden gebruikt. Voor de bekleding heeft Poltrona Frau vanzelfsprekend haar uitgebreide leercollectie beschikbaar, maar de Cove kan ook met stof worden bekleed.

Poltrona Frau Cercle
The concept of this new collection of seats is suggested by its name; in Catalan, a Cercle is a circle of people that dialogue with each other. The project evokes the light and interactive design of the Trust program and is perfectly consistent with Poltrona Frau’s new vision of the executive office.
The shell of Cercle plays on the contrast between rigidity of the external surfaces enveloped with Cuoio Saddle Executive or Pelle Frau leather and the welcoming softness of the internal part upholstered in fabric or in Pelle Frau leather.
Thanks to the deep ergonomic study, the sychron mechanism is integrated to the shell of Cercle and optimized by Poltrona Frau to offer very high comfort performances. All the upholsteries are made by totally eliminating the stitching. An intelligence in the hands masterpiece that expresses the experience gained by Poltrona Frau in the car design and the interiors of luxury cars.

Trust reinterprets the values of Poltrona Frau with a unique and expressive language of contemporary elegance. The program offers an iconic design, with its irregular profile, encouraging sharing, offering various sides and stations. Trust desks go beyond the idea of a traditional, separate and static desk.
All Trust elements can be freely combined together to organise interiors, adapting to the working style of the user.
The collection is characterized by the essential sign. The absence of stitchings or mechanical parts enhances the sign that becomes a soft graphic expressing hospitality. The rounded edge of the desk makes the surface more comfortable. The arms will have a greater comfort, not resting on the classic sharp edge of the work top. Both wood and Pelle Frau leather upholsteries accentuate the naturel appearance of the shapes.

Gli Oggetti – Zhuang
In Chinese, “zhuang” means to protect something special. The collection of containers designed by the Neri & Hu design studio offers a system of small storage boxes characterised by a minimalistic and ultra-modern design. The two stackable circular and oval boxes feature leather lids, while each box comprises four stackable containers held together by a matt natural brass aluminium base.Two larger boxes with the same geometric shapes complete the collection.
The boxes and containers can be positioned in different areas of the home such as the living room or bedroom to store treasured possessions or everyday items. The convenient handle evokes the classic stacking crates used every day in Asia and gives rise to a new domestic ritual.2All of the boxes in the Zhuang collection are crafted from solid Canaletto Walnut and carved from a single piece by numerically controlled machinery. Each box is finished with a Saddle Extra leather strap in carbon or camel. The leather is embellished with extremely fine stitching used in leather goods, with a light contrast thread and is branded with the Poltrona Frau logo.

Gli Oggetti – Pura
Sculpted from white Carrara marble, the Pura bowl is a new edition of the crystal version designed in 1988 produced exclusively for Poltrona Frau. The minute variations in thickness enhance the veins of the marble. Light penetrates the thinner and thicker parts of the piece to different degrees, emphasising the transparency and opacity of the material. The balance between volumes and voids determines the asymmetric shape of the bowl, which naturally rests on one side. The marble has been produced by numerically controlled techniques and then smoothed by hand to achieve the semi-smooth finish that preserves the natural appearance of the material. On the bottom of the bowl, a circular brass plaque in a Ruthenium finish bears the signature of the Master and the Poltrona Frau logo.

Gli Oggetti – Marianne
Available in two models, no two Marianne vases are the same; each is a unique work of art in blown glass. Using an open mould formed of steel strips, the incandescent glass is blown into the mould at different intensities, resulting in a slightly different movement which makes each vase subtly yet noticeably different in shape. The milk-white finish is achieved by adding a layer of white glass to the transparent glass in the glass-blowing crucible
